Event Status Read query

Returns the contents of the event status register in decimal form (0 to 255) and
subsequently sets the register to zero.

Usage:

Query only

*IDN?

IDeNtification query

Returns a string with information on the sensor's identity (device identification
code). In addition, the version number of the installed firmware is indicated.

Usage:

Query only

*IST?

Individual STatus query

Returns the current value of the IST flag in decimal form. The IST flag is the sta-
tus bit which is sent during a parallel poll.

Usage:

Query only

*OPC

OPeration Complete

Sets bit 0 in the event status register when all preceding commands have been
executed. This bit can be used to initiate a service request.

*OPC

must be sent at

the end of a program message.

The query form returns a "1" when all previous commands have been processed.
It is important that the read timeout is set sufficiently long.
