Spring adjustment
1. Adjust the spring tensioning by loosening the nuts [

] as indicated in fig. 19.
2. By moving upward the fastening cross bar [
B
], the spring tensioning increases; vice versa, by moving it downward, the tensioning decreases.
3. Lift the boom manually to an angle of 45° and let go. If the boom rises, reduce the spring tension. If the boom falls, increase the spring tension (fig. 20).
4. Once the spring tension is correct, tighten the lock nuts securely.
