Attention
Effective as of VLM marking sofware version 4.4:

4.2.3.6 M-function
As soon as an error occurs in the marking
software, this output has logical signal 1 (+24V).
Signal logical 1 for galvo check error, program
sequence error and external error. The signal is
automatically removed again.
This output is set if an error is reported.

This signal output is also available on -X46 (see
Section "4.3, External control panel -X46" on
page 43).
M-function outputs can be set by the VLM or
VMC2 marking program. They serve to control
actuators, e.g. at a handling unit. The signals are
distributed to two plug connectors.
