Outputs to connect cassette recorder or (HIFI) video recorders to make recordings. Or to
connect the Multi source II to an input of another mixer or pre-amplifier.

Assymetrical outputs to connect power-amplifiers. The output level can be respectively
manipulated with the master potentiometer 1 and 2 (20) from 0 to maximum (1.5V).
H)
Power inlet with fuse
Inlet to connect the mains power. Make sure that the power inlet is connected to the mains
voltage that is indicated on the back.
Please use signal cables shorter than 1 meter for the inputs and the outputs.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1)
First switch all the connected music-sources on (like CD-players, recordplayers, etc.). Then
switch the power button (1) to turn the power supply on. The power indicator (2) will light up
and a few seconds later the mixing panel will be in operation, ready state. In this stage you
can turn on the power amplifiers.
2)
Connect the headphones to phones output (5).
3)
Choose with input switch (7) the right source.
4)
Select with the monitor select switch (4) the desired source, channel A or B. Then you get the
stereo signal on the headphones and the VU-meter. Al these operations have no influence on
the outputsignal! Adjust with the level control (8) the input signal so, that the yellow indicators
of the level meters (3) light up sometimes. Adjust if necessary the quality of the sound with the
equalizer (10).
LOOK OUT : - The equalizer at each input is used to adjust the different sound
between the sources. To correct the acoustic of the room it is probably best to
use
an
external
equalizer.
5)
Slide up the fader (11) of the choosen channel, A or B.
6)
Adjust with the master (20) the volume.
7)
Correct if necessary the balance with button (19).
8)
To change the source, repeat point 3) to 5).
9)
To add a microphone signal, connect the mike to the MIC input (13). Turn the level control
(14) and the talk-over (17) to zero, slide up the MIC fader (18) to maximum and adjust with the
level button (14) the volume of the microphone. Adjust with the equalizer (16) the sound of the
mike. To use the talk over, adjust the talk over button (17) (0= no decrease, 10= total
decrease).
10)
If you like to record the mixed signal, you can simply do this by connecting a recorder to the
record-connectors (F).
11)
With the crossfader (12) you can easily fade between channel A and B. To do this you must
slide both channel faders (11) up.
12)
To compare the input signal of channel A with the signal of channel B, you must turn the
monitor select button (4) on the SPLIT A/B position. On the AFL-position (after fade listening),
you can listen to the mixed signal.
