These tap kits are available:
IMPORTANT
A disconnected drop cable can cause noise on the
network. Because of this, we recommend having
only one
unconnected drop cable per segment for
maintenance purposes. Be sure to keep the dust cap
on any unconnected drop cable. If your cable system
requires more than one unconnected drop cable,
unused drop cables should be terminated with a
dummy load (1786-TCAP).

TIP
If you are planning future installation of additional
nodes, do not install the tap. Instead, install a BNC
bullet connector. See page 2-10 for more
