6. 90° and 45° setting of the sawblade.
Verification of the 90° setting can be done with the use of a carpenter’s square or by cutting 2 pieces
of wood ( with a sufficient thickness). Hold the 2 cuts against each other. There shouldn’t be any gap
in between the 2 cuts. The 90° angle is determined by a stop on a threaded bar. Remove the dust
protection and the covering plate on the frame. Now it is possible to adjust the stop through the
therefor foreseen opening in the frame. First, you have to loosen the socket screw, adjust the stop,
and tighten the socket screw again. Replace the dust protection and the covering plate.
The machine is set on a 45° angle in the factory. It is possible to adjust the settings with the stop
inside the frame. Loosen the bolt and screw, adjust to the right position and tighten the screw.

7. Replacement of the batteries on a digital read-out
The batteries of a digital readout last about 6 months ( depending on use and temperature). Use only
high quality batteries and non-chargeable batteries.
