15.1 VFD Parameter Settin

Thermostats
The VFD parameters come

ith factory defa

tings. The follo

changed for mod

lating thermostats. Settings can
only be altered

hen the p

mp motor is stopped.
Verify that there is po
w
er to the VFD (LCD display
w
ill
be on) and mod
u
lating thermostat is set to off.

erride the rotary disconnect s

itch inside the
VFD enclos
u
re, t
u
rn the sq
u
are rod
w
ith a
w
rench to
the ON position. In order to be able to close the co
v
er
of the disconnect, the rods need to be t
u
rned back to
the OFF position.

To enter the PROGRAM mode and access the
parameters, press the Mode b
u
tton. This
w
ill acti
v
ate
the PASSWORD prompt (if the pass
w
ord has not
been disabled).
Display reads "00"

ttons to scroll to the pass

(the factory set pass

ord is 225).
Press Mode to enter pass
w
ord.
Once the correct pass
w
ord
v
al
u
e is entered, the dis-
play

ill read "P01",
w
hich indicates that the
PROGRAM mode has been accessed at the begin-
ning of the parameter men
u
(P01 is the first
parameter).
NOTE: If the display flashes "Er", the pass
w
ord
w
as
incorrect, and the process to enter the pass
w
ord
m
u
st be repeated.

Press Mode to display present parameter setting
(example setting is 20.0).

Press Mode to store ne

setting and exit the
program mode.

(the parameter menu will be accessed at the
parameter that was last viewed or chan

If the Mode key is pressed

ing the PROGRAM mode, the pass

ord is not

ired to access the parameters. After t
w
o min
u
tes,
the pass
w
ord m
u
st be entered in order to access the
parameters again.

Programming must be done by a trained
technician only.
Replace cover before operating.
Failure to follow these instructions can result
in death or electrical shock.
