Bt u /h. The radiant t u be length and tailpipe are set- u p
according to the RECOMMENDED specifications.
Step 1: Condensate flow ( g al/h) per 100,000
Btu/h installed
Select 0.3 from the Condensate flo w chart.
Step 2: Total condensate
M u ltiply the total inp u t Bt u /h / 100,000 by the
condensate flo w (gal/h) per 100,000 (Bt u /h)
(600,000/100,000) x 0.3 = 1.8 (gal/h)
Step 3: Choose the condensate neutralization

closest to and higher than the calc u lated gal/h v al u e.
For this example, the total condensate is 1.8 (gal/h),

NOTE: Condensate ne u tralization t u bes m u st be
replaced yearly (e v ery 2000 operating ho u rs) or
