SPARE TIRE STORAGE:
The spare tire is located in the storage area found under the
rear bed/sofa, (see Picture B-P44A), unless equipped with an
optional Continental Spare Tire Kit, (see Picture B-P45).
Brace yourself for the weight of the tire, (37 kg / 80 lbs).
The jack is located in the storage area found under the
passenger side rear bed mounted on the outside wall,
(see Picture B-P44).
Interior storage light switch, (see Picture B-P44).
CONTINENTAL SPARE TIRE KIT, (Optional):
Note: To open the driver side rear door, the spare tire kit
must be lowered.
To access the full size spare tire:
1. Unlock and remove the chrome ring and fiberglass
disc, (see picture B-P46).
2. While holding the spare tire, in the upright position,
loosen the anti vibration bolt, (see picture B-P46A),
and remove the safety catch pin on the elbow of
the receiver.
3. Slowly lower the spare tire to the flat position,
(see Picture B-P47). Brace yourself for the weight
of the tire, (37 kg / 80 lbs).
4. Remove the lug nuts on spare tire to remove it
from the spare tire carrier.
To store the tire, repeat these steps in reverse.
