Replacing components
1. Fitting and removing the circulation pump
a. Withdraw the retention pin for the pump
cover.
b. Insert screwdriver between the locking nut
and the measureing chamber housing and
lever out the pump cover carefully.
c. When installing, pay attention that the wing
axis is guided correctly. Hold the measur-
ing chamber horizontal and press the
pump cover in upwards from below.
2. Changing the metering pump hose
a. Tilt the fastening lever of the pressure
bracket to the right.
b. Press the left respectively the right pressure
lever of the hose to the side and remove
the hose.
c. Loosen the hose at the indicator swivel
block and at the measuring chamber.
d. Install the new hose.
e. Raise the right-hand pressure lever and
tighten the hose somewhat.
3. Removing the measuring chamber
a. Remove the metering pump hose.
b. Unfasten the solenoid valve connector and
remove it.
e. Loosen and remove the sensor connectors.
f. Remove the two retaining pins of the
measuring chamber.
g. Withdraw the chamber from the 3 locking
pins.
Instrument maintenance
In order to maintain the operational safety of the analyser, it must be regularly serviced. According to the
demand made on the instrument, this should occur at approximately 6 month intervals. The following work
must then be carried out:
1. Replacement of the hoses between the indica-
tor block, the metering pump and the measur-
ing chamber.
2. Cleaning the measuring chamber – if neces-
sary:
Remove the measuring chamber. Pull out the
sensor and actuator after removing the locking
pins.
Carefully clean the sensor and actuator with a
soft cloth. Clean the through bore (12mm)
with a circular brush.
3. Refill indicator, if required.
4. Check the adjustment (see page 22).
