FILTER REPLACEMENT

Periodic filter replacement is required to insure water quality and proper
performance of filters. These are the recommended filter change periods to be
used as a guideline for municipal inlet water. Filters may need to be changed
more often if inlet water is of lower quality.
PREFILTER REPLACEMENT
PREFILTER PP5μ AND PREFILTER CARBON
To change the prefilters proceed as follows.
1. Unscrew the two screws on the back of purifier.
2. Remove the back cover.
3. Identify the filter to be changed. Rotate clockwise to unscrew and remove
from purifier.

*Depending on the water quality of
your water supply and usage, the
post-filter may need to be replaced
more often than the recommended
replacement schedule.
It is time to replace the post-filter
when the filtered water has:

a pH level below 7 for AlcaPure
only.
