Measurement

When CELL indicator is lit in red

Status:

Measurement may not have been carried out properly, due

to excessive particle number concentration in sample fl uid,

fl ow cell contamination, condensation, or other cause.

Operation:

Measurement is possible, but may not be correct. Result

data should be used with care.

Output:

NOISE_HIGH (serial interface output only)

When LASER indicator is lit in red

Status:

Light source temperature is out of range.

Operation:

If measurement is in progress, it is stopped immediately

and measurement data are discarded.

Output: LASER_TEMP.

When LASER indicator fl ashes in red

Status:

Light source output has decreased to the rated level or

below, or becomes unstable.

Operation:

Measurement is possible, but may not be correct. Result

data should be used with care.

Output: LASER_FAIL

When LASER indicator fl ashes in green

Status:

Light source is nearing the end of its service life.

Operation:

Measurement is possible.

Output:

LASER_LIFE (serial interface output only)

When LASER indicator and CELL indicator are off

Status:

Light source is off.

Operation:

If measurement is in progress, it is stopped immediately

and measurement data are discarded.

Output:

LASER_OFF (serial interface output only)
