Preparations

Particle size setting range

Using the controller KE-40B1, it is possible to freely specify the size ranges

for particle detection (up to 10 ranges).

Please note the following limitations with regard to setting particle size

ranges.

• Particle size ranges can be set to 0.03 to 0.13 μm in 0.01 μm steps.

• The upper limit for the smallest particle size channel (CH1) is 0.06

μm.

• It is necessary to set a particle size that is twice the value of the

smallest size range (CH1).

Note

If the setting a particle size that is twice the value
of the smallest size range (CH1) is not done, the unit
will set it automatically and will re-order the chan-
nels, starting from the smallest on CH1. Therefore
it may not be possible to set exactly the intended
range. The automatically set value (twice the CH1
range) cannot be deleted.
