Preparations

Extending the sampling tube

When the KS-19F and external equipment are installed at a distance, or when

the tube shape of the external equipment and the sampling tube supplied

with the KS-19F do not match, the sampling tube can be extended using a

union joint.

1. Rotate the nut of the union joint counterclockwise to loosen it.

2. Pass the nut over the tip of the sampling tube as far as it will go.

3. Grasp the union joint body and rotate the nut clockwise to fasten

it. When you start to feel a resistance, turn the nut further by one

revolution.

Important

If the nut of the union joint is not fastened tightly,
sample fl uid may leak.
