(3) Operating method
This switch stops the motor when the pressure rises to the set pressure, and restarts it
automatically when the pressure drops to the set differential pressure (which is factory-set
to 5 MPa). When using this feature as a safety mechanism, specify a set pressure 3 to 5
MPa higher than the operating pressure. Before starting the pump, check that the setting
value is appropriate
(4) Zero adjustment
If the display does not indicate the value 0.0 when the
pump is not pressurized, zero adjustment is required.
Keep pressing
□
▽
for longer than 3 seconds to adjust
the value to 0.0. Before adjustment, check that there is
no residual pressure. Note: the function will make 0.0
indication even residual pressure exists. This process
may cause injury and destruction of the equipment.
(5) Changing the settings
While pressing
□
E , press
□
M for one second to place
the switch in setting mode. Each time
□
M is pressed,
the setting items switch. Select a desired setting item
and change the setting. When all desired changes are
completed, press
□
E . The changes are saved and the mode returns to the measurement
mode. If
□
E is not pressed, the mode remains in setting mode.
(A) Set pressure
When
□
M is pressed while
□
E is pressed, “
” is displayed for a moment, then the
current set pressure is displayed. Press
□
△
and
□
▽
keys to change the setting.
(B) Differential pressure
When
□
M is pressed again after the set pressure is displayed, “
” is displayed for a
moment, then the current differential pressure is displayed. Press
□
△
and
□
▽
keys to
change the setting.
(C) Output operation
When
□
M is pressed again after the differential pressure is displayed, “
” is
displayed for a moment, then the current output operation is displayed.
: Upper limit comparison
: Lower limit comparison
: Inverse output based on upper limit comparison
: Inverse output based on lower limit comparison
When changing the setting, press
□
△
several times until the desired output operation
setting is displayed.
* When the set pressure is 5 MPa or lower, set the differential pressure to lower than or
equal to the set pressure. If the different pressure is larger than the set pressure, the
motor stops at the set pressure and does not restart.
(6) Checking the settings
Keep pressing
□
M for 3 seconds. The display indicates the set pressure. Then, each time
□
M is pressed, the setting item changes to the set differential pressure, output operation
setting, and then set pressure so that each setting can be checked. After checking the
desired settings, press
□
E .
(7) Noise
If the indicated pressure is unstable, e.g., it sometimes fluctuates or displays different
values, it may be affected by noise. Identify the noise source and eliminate it.
Warning
Do not display the setting mode during pump operation. The motor stops
when the setting mode is activated and it restarts if
□
E key is pressed. This may cause a
malfunction, resulting in an accident.
