2.2. Purpose
The universally applicable ri-magic® HPLED examination lamp from Riester was made
for lighting and thus for diagnostics in all areas of medicine. It provides illumination of
approximately 130,000 lux at a distance of 400 mm.
3. Assembly instructions before initial setup
3.1. ri-magic®HPLED table model
Attach the universal clamp (1) to the table or wall rail using the adjusting screw (2). Insert
the pin contact of the lamp (4) into the hole in the universal clamp from above and tighten
it with the knurled screw (5). Insert the cable connector (6) of the power supply (7) into the
socket (8) from below until you feel it click into place. Plug the transformer (7) into the
socket. The lamp is now functional.
3.2. ri-magic®HPLED wall model
Hold the wall mount (1a) in the desired location on the wall and mark 4 holes for the dowels
/ anchors. Remove the wall mount and drill the 4 marked holes. Insert dowels / anchors
into the wall. Attach the wall mount and tighten. Insert the lamp (4) into the mount from
above an it in place with the locking screw (3a) on the side. Insert the cable connector (6a)
of the power supply (7a) into the socket (8a) from below until you feel it click into place. Plug
the transformer (7a) into the socket. The lamp is now functional.
