GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

OPERATION

Swap the blade positions. The used bottom blade installs

in the top position and the used top blade installs in the
bottom position.

NOTE:

If new blades are being used, discard old blades.

Install the top blade first. Reinstall the top blade screw

and tighten securely.

NOTE:

The curved edge of the blade always installs to

the front of the unit as shown. If the blade does not fit
properly, turn it over and try inserting it again.

Reinstall the bottom blade. Make sure it seats against

the edge of the gap adjustment screw.

Reinstall the bottom blade screw and tighten securely.

NOTE:

The curved edge of the blade always installs to

the front of the unit as shown. If the blade does not fit
properly, turn it over and try inserting it again.

Once the new blades are installed, refer to

Adjusting the

Cutting Blades

earlier in this manual to properly set the gap

adjustment for the material to be cut.
