 WARNING:

you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of 
a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury.

 WARNING:

Always remove battery pack from the tool when you 
are assembling parts, making adjustments, clean-
ing, or when not in use. Removing battery pack will 
prevent accidental starting that could cause serious 
personal injury.

 WARNING:

Always wear eye protection with side shields marked 
to comply with ANSI Z87.1, along with hearing pro-
tection. Failure to do so could result in objects being 
thrown into your eyes and other possible serious 
injuries.

ASSEMBLY

OPERATION

 WARNING:

Do not use any attachments or accessories not rec-
ommended by the manufacturer of this product. The 
use of attachments or accessories not recommended 
can result in serious personal injury.

APPLICATIONS

You may use this product for the purposes listed below:

  Cutting sheet metal, corrugated metal, vinyl siding, lino-

leum, asphalt roofing material, plastic, and chicken wire

INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE SHEAR HEAD

See Figure 2, page 7.

To install the shear head:

  Remove the battery pack from the power base or discon-

nect the power base from the power supply.

  Place the shear head on the power base and push until 

the latches click into position. Pull on the head to make 
sure it is securely installed before proceeding.

  Reinstall the battery pack or connect the power base to 

the power supply.

 

NOTE:

 The head can be installed at 90° angles to best 

suit your application needs. 

 WARNING:

Do not attempt to modify this product or create 
accessories or attachments not recommended for 
use with this product. Any such alteration or modi-
fication is misuse and could result in a hazardous 
condition leading to possible serious personal injury.

INSTALLING THE GUARD

See Figure 1, page 7.

  Position the shear head face down.

  Place the tab of the guard in the indentation, aligning the 

hole with the screw hole.

  Insert the screw and tighten securely with 

the included 

hex key

.

 

NOTE:

 Do not attempt to use the shear head without the 

guard installed.

UNPACKING

This product requires assembly.

  Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the 

box. All items listed in the

 Includes

 section must be 

included at the time of purchase.

 WARNING:

to the product by the manufacturer and require cus-
tomer installation. Use of a product that may have 
been improperly assembled could result in serious
