startup problem
The Windows desktop is remained to display and cannot transit to
whiteboard screen after pushing the power button and being displayed
RICOH logo.
IWB application problem
Restart the whiteboard.
When the screen can transit to Administrator setting, follow the steps
below.
When there is no transition, replace the SSD.
- Update the firmware.
- Reset to the factory default values.
Problems with the Electronic Pen
Problem Cause Solution
The electronic pen cannot be used. Refer to the flowchart below.
Two HID keyboard devices are not
displayed beneath "Keyboard" on the
Device Manager screen of Service mode.
Correct display:

The USB connector
or USB cable is
disconnected.

Defective USB
cable

Defective receiving
module

Disconnect and
reconnect the receiving
module.

Check the connection
of the USB cable.
Connect the receiving
module directly to the
USB connector.

If the problem is not
solved, replace both
the receiving module
and the electronic pen.

It is hard to write because the pen nib
is crushed.

The pen nib is crushed and does not
move smoothly, and the switch of the
pen nib does not turn on (when
pushing, the LED does not light up).

The pen nib is worn
out.

Replace the pen nib.
