Reload the media.

Launch Print Control.

Click [Roll], and then confirm that the display switches to [Roll].

Click [Media Setting] on the Operation screen.

The Media Setting screen is displayed.

Use the four-way controller (left and right buttons) to move the carriage above the media.

Click [Detect Medium Height].

The medium thickness is detected.

13.

Install the cover on the top of the carriage cover.

• If ink adheres on the internal components of the machine while removing jammed media, the back

side of media may get dirty. If the back side of media gets dirty after the jammed media is
removed, clean the platen. For details about cleaning, see page 80 "Cleaning the Platen".
