2. PROGRAMMING, TESTING, AND PRINTING REPORTS - RF01F

2-1. USER LEVEL PROGRAMMING

2-1-1. Programming Sheet

The programming sheet is used to program your telephone number and to change user selectable parameters.

1. Make sure that there is no document in the feeder.

2. Press Copy then Start within 2 seconds, to enter the programming sheet mode. An instruction sheet is printed

for operational aid. Three LEDs, Halftone, Fine and Superfine, keep blinking during printing.

PRESS - COPY TO PRINT AN EMPTY PROGRAMMING SHEET

- START TO READ PROGRAMMING SHEET OR PRINT CURRENT SETTINGS
- STOP TO EXIT

3. Press Start to print the current settings or press Copy to print an empty programming sheet, if you want to

change the current settings.

4. Mark up the programming sheet to change the parameters and the telephone number (CSI). If you do not want

a parameter to be changed, keep the line for the parameter empty.

5. After reviewing the new settings marked on the programming sheet, place the sheet face down in the ADF then

press Start to scan it.

Note:

If bit 4 of bit switch 2 is set to ‘‘1’’ (Austria: CSI programming is only in service mode), the program-
ming sheet has lines 1 through 8 only.
