4.0 Calibration
The Tracer AV can be calibrated using the Zero and Units keys or EDP commands. Both methods consist of the following
steps:
• Zero calibration
• Entering the test weight value
• Span calibration
• Optional rezero calibration for test weights using hooks or other additional items.

The default calibration feature can also be used, which utilizes a more user-friendly procedure; however, not all options are
available in default calibration.

4.1 Default Calibration
If using a 500 lb or 300 lb scale, you can select it from the
DEFCAL
menu. This automatically uses the settings shown in
Table 4-1 for 500 lb or Table 4-2 for 300 lb.
