INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNINGS:

•Whenpipeinsulationisnotratedfortheappropriate

weatherconditions,installelectricheattracingor

equivalenttopreventfreezingofthepipes.

•Donotinsulateorblockdrainvalveonthehotoutlet

fitting.

•Ifpipesareallowedtofreeze,thewaterheaterand

thepipesmaymalfunctionorleakduetofreezing

water.

NOTICE:

Thehotandcoldwatersupplypipes

shouldbeinsulatedtoprovideadditionalfreeze

protection.

Forincreasedenergyefficiency,usepipeinsulationas

showninthediagram.Insulatethepipesalltheway

tothetop.DONOTcoveranydrainorpressure-relief

valve(s).
