V Verbal Response Codes
Your modem can display either verbal or numeric response codes in response to various
commands. The V command enables you to select which type of response codes you want
displayed.
See Table 7-6 for a full list of the response codes supported by your modem.

W Delayed Response
To support software that cannot cope with the high connection establishment speed of the radio
then this option allows the response to be delayed for 1 second before returning the CONNECT
response.
The W command enables you to select which type of response speed you want.

&C Controlling Data Carrier Detect
DCD is an RS-232 signal used to indicate to the computer that remote modem is ready to
communicate. The &C command is used to tell the modem how it will control the DCD output.
Command
Description
AT&C0
DCD is always asserted (the computer assumes the remote modem is ready to communicate).
AT&C1
DCD follows the online produced by a connection to a remote modem.
AT&C2
DCD follows the DSR from a remote modem
