Switch on period
On the bottom of the sensor part the desired switching period can be steplessly regulated
between 2 sec and 20 min.
Regulating screw at the right stop regulates the shortest period: approx. 20 min
Regulating screw at the left stop regulates the longest period: approx. 2 sec
On delivery the shortest time is programmed.
Brightness regulation
The desired brightness reaction can also be regulated on the bottom of the sensor part.
Regulating screw at the right stop means:
switching at every grade of brightness
Regulating screw at the left stop means:
switching only in the dark
Regulation upon delivery:
switching at every grade of brightness
Adjustments tips
The regulation of the detecting range is made as follows:
1. Adjust switch on period on minimum.
2. Adjust brightness on ”bright”.
3. Adjust the detecting range by coarse setting of the sensor part.
4. For control pass through the detecting range and correct if necessary.
If the BW 1000 PS switches on permanently there is probably a heat movement existing in
the vision area of the sensor.
To locate it the lense must be covered. Once covered the BW 1000 PS should no longer
switch on the light. Afterwards the lense is opened one sector after the other. After each
opening, test the perfect switching function. When the range concerned is opened, the
faulty switching will occur again.
To sort out the faulty switching please continue as follows:
- Removement of the disturbing source from the detecting range.
- Change the detecting range so that the disturbing source is no longer reached.
- Covering of the repective lense sector.
