This step is not required for a separate solar panel.
Connect the cable from the motor to the connector in the front
cover. Make sure the hook is attached correctly. Close the
bottom of the box with the 2 screws at the side supporting end
pieces with a Torx key (DIN 7985 TX – M4x40 – A2).
Remove the protection film on the solar cell.

Screw the front part to the back part side channel to complete.

In a roughcast wall, always run the cable through a cable duct, so that it can be
accessed at any time.
Fitting the separate unit (for separate solar panel only)
The separate unit does not come with pre-drilled holes in the back as standard. Drill holes on the
left and right to fasten the unit to the façade (fasteners not included). Pull the 3 m or 5 m motor
cable (optional) through the punched opening in the cassette.

Cut and strip the cable to the required
length and pull it through the opening
in the unit. Fit the cable to the connector
(1) and check whether the colours of the
cables match (2).
Test the screen
• Connect the solar panel to the battery.
• Close the unit.
