Step Operation
1
Switch off the unit, disconnect it from the power
supply, and take measures to prevent it from being
restarted.
2
Loosen the M24 nuts to undo the two thrust springs
(Pos. 1). The springs stabilise the pivoting base
(Pos. 2) when the motor starts up – (thereby
counterbalancing the starting moment).
3
Screw in the adjusting screw (Pos. 3) clockwise in
order to raise the pivoting motor base (undo lock nut
first).
4
Remove the belts individually from the pulley.
5
Fit the new V-belts individually.
6
Lower the pivoting motor base again by means of the
adjusting screw until the motor is fully seated in the
belts.
7
Pretension the two thrust springs evenly on the right
and left sides by means of the M24 nuts. The springs
should be pretensioned approx. 25mm – 30mm.
