When the set thresholds are exceeded, the corresponding alarm symbol will flash and an alarm sound is output.
End the alarm by briefly pushing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The backlighting is switched on and the alarm sound is muted
for 5 minutes. During this time, the alarm signal will continue to flash. Then the alarm sound is started again. This proce-
dure can be repeated every 5 minutes.
Terminate the alarm by briefly pushing the HISTORY/-, SET, ALARM or C button. The alarm sound is switched off.
The alarm sound will be ended automatically after 2 minutes if no button is pushed.
20. Backlighting
If the backlighting is off, push the button “LIGHT”. The backlighting is switched on. If no button is pushed during this time,
the backlighting will switch off again after 5 seconds.
• Push and hold the button “LIGHT”. The display shows LED ON; the backlighting remains on. Push and hold the button
“LIGHT”. The display shows LED OFF, the backlighting is switched off.
• Set the weather station to LED ON, as described above. Push the button “LIGHT”. The display BRIGHT appears in the
display. Use the button “LIGHT” to choose between the two settings 1 and the pre-set brightness (observe the following
setting for this).
• Briefly push the button “LIGHT” twice. The weather station will switch to the backlighting mode. The display BRIGHT
appears in the display. Use the buttons “+” and “-” to select the corresponding value (1-8) for backlighting. Push the
“SET” button.
A permanently lit backlighting is not recommended in battery operation, since the batteries would be discharged
quickly.
If the weather station is connected to the plug-in mains adapter, permanent backlighting is activated automati-
cally. The display AC ON appears briefly.
