3. Press the
SNOOZE/LIGHT
button for power supply operation twice to switch off the
projection of the projection clock.
4. Press the
SNOOZE/LIGHT
button for power supply operation again to switch on the
LCD of the projection clock and the projection.
b) Setting the projection
Perform the configuration steps described below during the hours of
darkness or in a darkened room.
1. Turn the projection angle setting (5) when the projection is switched on to display
the time on a suitable flat surface (e.g. wall or ceiling).
2. Adjust the projection using the focus control (4) until the red display is clearly
visible.
Continual operation of the projection increases the power consumption of
the product and reduces the service life of the lens. The projection is only
suitable for dark rooms. A projection in daylight is almost invisible. If you
use the continual projection, we recommend only switching it on during the
hours of darkness. Switch off the projection during the hours of daylight to
increase the service life of the lens.
c) Selecting the temperature unit
1. Press the
+ /°C/°F/
button (7) to change the unit of measurement of the
temperature to be displayed. Celsius or Fahrenheit is possible (°C, °F).
d) Activating/displaying the wake-up or alarm signal
The projection clock has 2 adjustable alarm times
1
2
.
1. Press the
MODE
button (8) once to display the set alarm time A1.
2. Press the
MODE
button twice to display the set alarm time A2.
3. Press the +
/°C/°F/
button to activate or deactivate the wake-up alarm for an
alarm. The symbols (
1
or
2
) are displayed when an alarm time is activated and
disappear from the LCD when an alarm time is deactivated.
e) Ending the wake-up or alarm signal, snooze mode
If the crescendo wake-up signal is triggered at the set time, the wake-up alarm symbol
(
1
or
2
) flashes on the LCD of the projection clock.
1. Press the
SNOOZE/LIGHT
button (10) to interrupt the alarm for 5 min.
2. Press the
MODE
button (8) to end the wake-up signal.
3. A triggered wake-up signal stops automatically after 120 seconds.
f) Displaying meteorological values
The measured values of a channel (external sensor or projection clock) are displayed
together with the channel number of the associated external sensor on the display of
the projection clock.
1. Press the
IN/CH
button (9) on the rear side of the projection clock to display
temperature and humidity data of the projection clock and the connected sensor(s)
(if available). The display initially shows the values of the projection clock. The
IN
symbol is displayed.
2. Press the
IN/CH
button once to display the values of the first external sensor. The
OUT
symbol is displayed together with the channel number of a sensor.
3. Press the
IN/CH
button twice to display the values of the second external sensor.
The
OUT
symbol is displayed together with the channel number of a sensor.
4. Press the
IN/CH
button three times to display the values of the third external
sensor. The
OUT
symbol is displayed together with the channel number of a sensor.
5. Press the
IN/CH
button four times to switch on the automatic display cycle.
6. The projection clock now also runs through this display cycle automatically and
alternately displays the values for a maximum of four positions (three external
sensors plus one projection clock) for a few seconds.
7. Press the
IN/CH
button four times to end the endless loop of the display cycle and
to return to the values of the projection clock.
An acclimatization time of the projection clock of about 24 hours must be
maintained until meteorological values for a forecast are meaningful.
Please note that the weather forecast is not displayed accurately in all
cases. The symbols of the weather forecast for the next 12 - 24 hours are
valid for a surrounding radius of 30 - 50 km. They are permanently displayed
on the LCD.
g) Stored Max-Min values
1. Press the
MAX/MIN
button (8) once to display the saved maximum values of
temperature and humidity. The
MAX
symbol is displayed together with the
respective values.
2. Press the
MAX/MIN
button once more to display the saved minimum values
of temperature and humidity. The
MIN
symbol is displayed together with the
respective values.
3. Press the
IN/CH
button (9) to change the display to the values of an external
sensor. Repeat this step for each available external sensor.
4. Press the
MAX/MIN
button to change between the displays of the saved maximum/
minimum values of temperature and humidity.
Troubleshooting
With this projection clock, you have acquired a product that is built according to state-
of-the-art technology and is safe to operate. Even then, problems and malfunctions
can occur. Therefore, we would like to describe here how you could remedy possible
malfunctions.
No reception of signal from the external sensor
• The distance between the projection clock and the external sensor is too large.
Change the location of the projection clock or external sensor.
• Objects or shielding materials (metallised insulating glass windows, steel reinforced
concrete etc.) are obstructing the reception. The projection clock is located too
close to other electronic devices (television set, computer). Change the location of
the projection clock or external sensor.
• The batteries in the external sensor are weak or empty. Insert new batteries into the
external sensor on a trial basis.
• The safety code of the external sensor and that of the projection clock do not match.
Remove the batteries from the projection clock and the external sensor.
• Very low outdoor temperatures (under -20 °C) reduce the performance of batteries.
• Another transmitter on the same or close frequency interferes with the radio signal
of the external sensor. Reducing the distance between the projection clock and the
external sensor may help.
Maintenance and cleaning
• The product does not require maintenance except for occasional cleaning. For
cleaning, use a soft, anti-static and lint-free cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
• Do not immerse the product in water.

household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the
product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries.
Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy
metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality,
our stores or wherever batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
