LED Auto: In the Auto LED mode, if you lift the unit away from the reading
material, the lights will automatically turn OFF . The lights will turn on when
MANO L gets closer to the reading material .
Note: The default setting is the "LED ON mode" . When you turn OFF the
unit, MANO L resets automatically to the "LED ON mode" .
Power saving mode
The MANO L features a power saving mode to reduce the power con-
sumption and to conserve the battery .
If you don’t move the unit or press any buttons for more than 2 minutes,
the device will turn inactiv and the LCD screen will turn OFF . The battery
charging indicator flickers in red color .
If you move the unit or press any buttons when the power saving mode is
activated,the LCD screen will turn ON automatically .
If you don’t move the unit or press any buttons for additional 3 minutes
after the power saving mode is activated, the unit will turn OFF automati-
cally .
Power saving mode ON/OFF
By default the power saving mode is activated .
When the MANO L is switched OFF, slide the Power switch for 2 seconds
to the right while holding the Zoom up button and the Zoom down button .
An icon showing the status of Power Saving Mode appears on the left
corner of the screen .
When Power Saving Mode is turned ON, the icon is displayed in green
color .
If Power Saving Mode is turned OFF, the icon is displayed in red color .
