Cleaning and inspection
!
WARNING!
The fuel that is used in the chainsaw
poses the following hazards:
1. The fl uid and its fumes are poisonous.
2. Can cause skin irritation.
3. Is highly infl ammable.
Clean all components in clean petrol.
Use an air line to dry off the petrol from all components.
Blow through all the channels in the carburettor body and
check that they are not blocked.
See fi gs. 11 and 12 and check the following:
1. The gaskets, pump diaphragm and metering
diaphragm are undamaged.
WARNING!
When using compressed air, the air jet
should never be pointed towards the
body. Air can be forced into the blood
stream which can cause fatality.
2. There is no play in the throttle and choke butterfl ies.
3. The needle valve and its lever arm are not worn at M
in
fi g. 11.
4. The fuel fi lter is undamaged. See L in fi g. 10.
5. The tips of the high and low speed jet screws are not
damaged.
6. The air intake duct is undamaged.
