SYSTEM INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
5.1.
Characteristics and special requirements for fitting and installing the
automatic pellet burner and the hot water pellet boiler
The automatic pellet burner is connected and fitted onto the heat exchanger of the pellet boiler. The burner
installation must ensure reliable insulation between the burner and the boiler, to prevent the combustion
gases from being drawn from the boiler combustion chamber into the surrounding atmosphere and the
penetration of ambient air inside the combustion chamber.
5.2.
Requirements for installing the system consisting of the hot water pellet
boiler and pellet burner
o
the minimum clearance in front of the boiler
to allow it to be cleaned, serviced, etc. must be
1000 mm
;
o
the minimum clearance permitted between the rear of the boiler and a wall must be
400 mm
;
o
the minimum clearance from the side of the boiler onto which the pellet burner is connected and a wall
must be
500 mm
to allow servicing and support operations on the burner and pellet hopper.
o
the minimum clearnace between the opposite side (to the one where the pellet burner is connected) of
the boiler and a wall must be
500 mm
to ensure easy access to the heat exchanger and facilitate the
removal of the ash deposited;
o
the minimum clearance between the top of the boiler and a wall (ceiling) must be
600 mm
to ensure
easy access for cleaning and servicing the heat exchanger (to remove the ash, for instance);
