page of the Video Unit or the
Real-time Hub.

Disconnect the Video Unit from the network. The screen will show the IP
address of the Video Unit and the Real-time Hub.
Other solutions: Check with the local IT department or look for a note in
“Pre-installation checklist” on page 5.

I cannot sign in to the Video
Unit.

To reset the password to factory default (

), save a pure text
file named
raysafe.cfg
directly on a USB memory. The content of
the file must be:

Do not write anything between the quotation marks.
Start the Video Unit and wait until the application is up and running (the
display shows a start screen with IP numbers or a real-time view).
Connect the USB memory to the Video Unit and wait at least 5 seconds.
Then disconnect the USB memory.
The Video Unit will automatically reboot and reset the password to the
default:
raysafe
.
I cannot sign in to the Real-
time Hub.
Forgot password.
To reset the password to factory default (
raysafe
), save a pure text
file named
raysafe.cfg
directly on a USB memory (formatted as
FAT32). The content of the file must be:
dm_hub :

};
Do not write anything between the quotation marks.
Connect the USB memory to a USB port on the hub. Restart the hub
while the USB memory is connected. When the hub is restarted,
disconnect the USB memory. This will reset the password to the default:
raysafe
.
I want to reset the Real-time
Hub to factory defaults.
Start over the installation.
Remove the cover and press and hold
button 1
for 10 seconds to reset
the configuration to default settings.
