4.5.1 Selecting crane configuration

An error may result in an overload of the crane and the risk of

the machine breaking or tilting, thus causing serious injuries

or even death. You should never set up a configuration of which

you are not completely certain. Better ask for assistance from

a qualified technician.

4.5 System in lifting mode

CURRENT CRANE

CONFIGURATION

Navigate to the Tools tab

with the LEFT/RIGHT keys

to view the current crane

configuration on the lower

part of the screen.

This allows the operator to choose the type of attachments

mounted on the crane. This is very important since the

calculation of the radius depends on it. In turn, the maximum

load lifted by the operator will depend on the radius.

TOOLS TAB

The i4000 is not a Rated Capacity Indicator (RCI). The

displayed % represents the limit set by the operator

rather than the maximum lifting capacity established by

the crane manufacturer.

Once the section 4.5 is entirely completed, the i4000

indicator will be ready for use.
