If the motor slows down or stops during tyre demounting
and mounting, make the following checks:
• Check that the bead has been lubricated.
• Check that the bead has been pushed into the well.
• Check that the right side of the rim has been chosen
for demounting or mounting the tyre.
• Check that the rim well is not off-centre.
4.8 Tyre fitting

OPERATIONS TO AVOID SQUASHING
DANGER.
To mount the tyre, proceed as follows:
1) Position the work arm in working position depressing
pedal A ( Fig.G ).
WHEN PLACING ARM IN WORKING POSITION,
DO NOT LEAN HANDS ON THE RIM: DANGER OF
SQEEZING BETWEEN HEAD AND RIM.
2) Place head 1 ( Fig. H ) against the rim edge and lock
arm 2 .
IF TYRE IS FITTED ON THE WHEEL
PREVIOUSLY REMOVED OR WHEEL SIZE
CORRESPONDS TO RIM SIZE, IT IS NOT
NECESSARY TO OPERATE HANDLE 3 TO
SECURE AND RELEASE THE HEAD, ONLY ARM
2 NEEDS TO BE REPOSITIONED.
3) Place the tyre so that the bead passes under head
nail 1 and outside head support (see Fig. H for lower
bead).
WHEN TYRE IS TUBELESS TYPE, START
ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES WITH VALVE SET
AT 180° WITH RESPECT TO THE HEAD (“5/6 O’
CLOCK”).

4) Turn chucking table

clockwise. Keep the correspondent lowered and the tyre bead in the inner rim groove.
BE VERY CAREFUL, KEEP HANDS AND OTHER BODY PARTS FAR OFF THE HEAD WHEN THE
CHUCKING TABLE IS TURNING: DANGER OF SQUEEZING.
5) If an inner tube tyre must be fitted, insert the inner tube after the first bead is completely inside the rim.
6) Repeat the same operations for the upper tyre bead, as shown in
Fig. I
.
7) once assembly is completed, remove arm and take it to rest position by depressing pedal

8) Push the pedal to release the wheel from the chucking table.
