Trailer

will be replaced under our limited warranty. Please note that the color of
oil will change over time and does not indicate a problem that requires
any action.

Oil filled hubs can weep out small amounts of oil at the rear seal. When

this happens the oil will collect dirt and fall off onto the wheels as black
spots. This is not an oil leak. Soap and water will remove this and clean
your wheels. An oil leak will leave an oil film on the wheel that you will be
able to see.

After three years the hub needs to be serviced by draining and refilling

with 50 wt oil.

1. Remove wheel center cap if wheel has one. Do not jack up the

trailer or remove tire.

2. Using a piece of cardboard and a catch pan, with the cardboard

under the amber center cap, unscrew the center cap and let oil drain
on cardboard into catch pan.

3. Once drained and rubber plug removed from amber center cap, re-

install the amber center cap till seated on hub. Fill to bottom of fill
hole; wait 10 minutes and refill to bottom of hole with oil and install
rubber plug. This amount of time is needed for the oil to seep
through the bearings so proper level will be shown.

4. Reinstall wheel, tightening lug nuts to 95-100 ft. lbs.

NOTE: It is normal for the oil to change color after a few miles of
use.

5. Dispose of oil soaked cardboard and used oil in an appropriate
manner.
