QUIT
Syntax
:
quit
Description
:
Terminates the current shell session.
REBOOT
Syntax
:
reboot
reboot erase
Description
:
Reboot the unit with various levels of severity.
The
reboot
syntax performs a soft reboot, keeping all configurations and miscellaneous
process state information intact.
The
reboot erase
syntax performs a complete reboot to a known, factory default
configuration state. Note that this includes the RSUID, i.e the unit id which is reset to a
value of
2000
and a base ID of
100
.
RELAY
Syntax
:
relay
<relayno>
relay
<relays> <on>
[ <onduration> ]
relay
<relays> <off>
Description
:
Controls on-board relays.
<relayno> must be a single relay number where
1
is always the first relay on a unit.
<relays> can be a single relay number (e.g.
1
) or a range (e.g.
1-3
).
<on> can be the text
on
or the number
1
.
<off> can be the text
off
or the number
0
.
Note that relay numbers are different from port numbers. For example, relay 1 on an
RS210 node is physically port 7. So to configure the first relay using the
configset
command, you would refer to port 7. In the software, a transition on relay 1 will also be
reported as port 7 However, to control the relay with this command the number
1
is
used.
The
relay
<relayno> syntax returns the current state of the relay.
The
relay
<relays> <on>/<off> syntax turns relay on and off respectively.
The <onduration> parameter set a pre-defined ontime after which the relay is
automatically turned off. <onduration> is in minutes. This feature is used by the server
