18.2. Autozero
In order to ensure precise indication „AUTOZERO” function has been introduced. The
intended use of this function is automatic control and correction of zero indication of the
scale.
When function is active comparison of results takes place at assumed time intervals. If
results differ by value smaller than declared AUTOZERO range e.g. one division, scale will
be zeroed automatically, stable state will be marked–
and zero indication – will
be displayed.
When AUTOZERO function is enabled, each result starts from precise zero. However
there are some cases where this function can be disturb in measurements. It can be (e.g.)
very slow load placing on the pan (e.g. load pouring) in such case correction system of
zero indication can also correct indication of real mass of load.
Procedure:
AUTOZERO no – autozero disabled
AUTOZERO YES - autozero enabled
