Operation
1. Press
INTCM/DEL
. The current
call is placed on hold.
2. Within 10 seconds, press the
receiving handset ID.
3. If necessary, tell the person at
the other handset that you are
transferring a call.
4. Press
END
to terminate the
intercom call.
The receiving party must press TALK
to connect to the outside line.
MAKING A
CONFERENCE CALL
While a call is in progress, another
handset can join the call by pressing
TALK
.

Notes:
• During the conference call, if
either party presses
HOLD/
FORMAT
, the other handset is
also put on hold.
• Only two handsets can join the
conference call. A third handset
cannot join the conference call if
it is already established between
two handsets.
USING PRIVACY
If you want privacy so no other
handset can join your call, turn on the
privacy feature before making or
receiving a call.
The privacy feature works on the
entire system. However, privacy can
be turned off at any of the other
handsets.
Follow these steps to enable the
privacy feature.
1. Lift the handset and press
MENU/
ENTER .
2. Press or to select

Note: When any other handset is
off hook, you cannot enter the
privacy menu.
3. Press MENU/ENTER . The current
setting appears.

to exit.
VOICE MAIL WAITING
INDICATOR
If you subscribe to the voice mail
service from your phone company,
the CHARGE/VOICE MAIL indicator
on the base flashes and

appears when you receive
new voice messages. Call the
number to access the voice mail, then
enter your personal ID to retrieve the
message.
