3.19 Disc coulter [optional]

Legend

Spring secured version

The disc coulter gives a clean cut to the furrow.

In its spring secured version (1), the disc can avoid obstacles and
thus be protected.

3.20 Safety

devices

Safety devices can be either mechanical or pneumatic.

3.20.1

Mechanical safety device

A shear bolt protects against any risk of damage to the link arm
and the body of the implement.

In the event of overload, the body of the plough avoids the
obstacle by shearing of the bolt.

The sub-soiler is also protected against any risk of damage by
the shear bolts.
