PLAY – Show Builder menu page
The
Show Builder
menu page is a graphical front-end for authoring a simple script file from the front
panel GUI. A
Script
is an editable text file that contains instructions to tell the system how to play various
segments of similar content without interruption (as if they were one seamless production). A QuVIS
script file is similar to a traditional playlist as it may be used to play a specific list of content in a specified
order.
The
Show Builder
application/menu page is used to create a simple script from the front panel menu
system. Authoring capabilities are somewhat limited, as the
Show Builder
does not support all of the
available event types that may actually be used to create a script. For details on how to create a simple
play script, see section,
Additional details of the
QScript
file format and manual authoring requirements may be found in the
QuVIS document entitled
QuVIS Show Scripting – QScript
.
