The selector display shows various functions:
-
AU indicates automatic operation
- MA flashing indicates manual movement
- OP flashing means the door is completely open
- NI indicates night operation
-
SA
indicates the door is always open
- RI indicates exit only with internal radar activated (the external one is deactivated)
- AL BA flashing indicates the battery is dead
-
AL FS
flashing indicates the photocells are not working (with photo-test enabled)
- RS indicates a realignment manoeuvre after a reset or first start-up
20 - ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCK
By installing the electromechanical lock, it is possible to lock the doors mechanically with a steel
pin once they are closed. This happens automatically if you set the function selector to night (
NI),
whereas in function which is selected it leaves the doors free to slide.
In the night position
(NI) , all impulse devices are deactivated, except for key impulse, which allows
opening each time it is activated.
Since the lock type is
closed at rest without current, in the night position (NI) it will not allow the
doors to open even if there is a failure of the 220V electrical power supply.
The lock can also be released mechanically through a manual emergency action, which is carried
out using the release located near the door, normally in the covering box.
21 - ELECTRONIC EMERGENCY UNIT
With the installation of a backup battery group, the automation can provide for emergency opening
or closing.
In the night position
(NI) , this function is deactivated. Therefore, if there is a power outage, the
doors will remain closed and locked if the electromechanical lock is present.
In all other selector positions, if there is a power outage, the batteries intervene to open or close the
door, based on the initial setting. They will remain open or closed as ling as there is no power, and
then return to the previously set position.
If the door is set to night
(NI), if there is a power outage, the emergency battery makes it possible to
open the door anyways, using the key impulse (if installed), which will perform a courtesy opening
and then close again automatically after the time set during the initial start-up.
ATTENTION
To ensure proper battery operation, they must be tested once a month. Switch on the automatic
function
(AU).
Disconnect the power supply to the system. The door will perform an emergency
opening. Check on the display of the selector after about one minute for the message AL BA
,
which
indicates a problem with the battery. In this case, contact technical service .
