■
Condensing boilers need a drain system for draining condensed water generated in the boiler.
■
Connect the condensed water drain hose to the outlet of the siphon located near the bottom of the
boiler and connect the other end of the hose to a nearby floor drain.
■
If a longer drain hose is to be used, vinyl or plastic hose with a minimum diameter of 1/2-inch is to
be used.
■
IMPORTANT!!! The siphon reservoir in the boiler should be filled with water. If no water is
available, do not operate the boiler.
■
The condensed water should not be used for drinking water.
Be sure to clean the siphon at least once per year to prevent any problem
(After cleaning the siphon, be sure to check for any leaks of condensed water or flue gas.)
