To create a self-signed certificate:
Before a CA-issued certificate is obtained, you can first create and install a self-signed certificate.
1.
On the
HTTPS
page, click
Create
under
Create self-signed certificate.
2.
Provide the requested information to install a self-signed certificate for the camera. Refer to
Provide the Certificate Information
in this section for details.

To create a certificate request:
1.
Click the
Create Certificate Request
button to create and submit a certificate request in
order to obtain a signed certificate from a CA
.
2.
Provide the requested information in the
Created Request
field. Refer to
Provide the
Certificate Information
in this section for details.
3.
When the request is complete, the subject of the
Created Request
is shown in the field. Click
Properties
below the
Subject
field, copy the PEM-formatted request and send it to your CA.
