Close the front doors.

Remove the tape drive cover plates by loosening the captive screws
securing the plate to the library chassis with a flat blade screwdriver (see
figure 9
).

Installing a PX506 and PX510 library in a rack consists of the following steps:

Both the PX506 and PX510 libraries are designed to fit in a standard 19 inch
wide rack.

If this is an upgrade to an existing library system or multiple
libraries are going to be installed in this rack, see
Installing
Additional Libraries
on page 35 for information on preparing the
library chassis prior to installation.
