5. Firebrick
Your appliance is lined with high quality firebrick and
refractory board, which has exceptional insulating proper-
ties.
Do not operate the appliance without bricks and refractory
board in place. Make sure bricks are installed as shown in
Figure 3.3.
Do not use a grate; simply build a fire on the firebox floor.
