Piano allows you to set
the piano volume
relative to the
background volume.
The preset is 100. If
playing the piano as a
digital piano use 64.
Chili will look at any
MIDI file inserted. It will
separate the piano from
the rest of the MIDI or
CD background, which
can then be adjusted at
the other two locations
on this screen.
MIDI - If playing a
floppy or demo file
MIDI determines the
volume level of the
background music
relative to the piano.
The A in calibrate
is highlighted,
press enter.
The E in equalizer
is highlighted,
press enter.
CD – If playing a
CD, CD determines
the volume level of
the background
music relative to
the piano.

Violin allows you to set the
Violin volume relative to the
background volume.
Relevant only if you have a
Player Violin attached. Setup
is similar to the Piano.
As you are listening to the music from your headphones, adjust the various settings
using the Data Dial. For example, when you raise the piano number, the piano sound will
be more pronounced than the background music from the MIDI file or CD. To go to the
different categories simply press the right and left buttons. When done, press enter.
You may need to adjust the volume curve for your headphones also.
