Also new in ADIF Utility v1.9 are 2 new ADIF fields:

Call Sign, if entered in the Utility

Band
When:
enter the date in yyyymmdd format. Tab to the time
field after the “@” sign and enter the time in hhmm format.
Note: if using the internal real time clock, the date and time will
be filled in with the date and time the screen was accessed.
The SideKar is supplied with a CR2032 button battery for this
purpose. If necessary, set the date and time (Alt-D)
Freq:
enter the frequency in MHz. This will be automatically
filled in with the frequency at the time you accessed this
screen.
MD:
enter the mode. This could be 2 characters for CW or up
to 4 characters for RTTY. This will be automatically filled in
with the mode selected at the time you accessed this screen.
Logging Activities using References
The SideKar provides features for operators in a number of
activities to manage various references, such as:
Summits on the Air (SOTA)
Worldwide Flora and Fauna (WWFF)
Islands on the Air (IOTA)
Lighthouses
Grids
And any other activity that uses any kind of reference or
you simply want to designate as a separate activity.
By reference, we mean a published identifier used within the
activity to report activations, collect points, etc. Example: SOTA
uses Summit References (i.e. “W0/FR-001”), IOTA uses island
