Stacking the loaded pallets
The pallet stacker uses the proximity sensors of the Prorunner mk10 to stop on the top, middle
and bottom vertical positions.
The horizontal positioning of the pallets in the machine is done by sensors on the conveyor
(not supplied by Qimarox). To stack the first pallet on top of the second pallet, the pallet
stacker is equipped with two sensors: B6 and B7.
When the first pallet is picked up proximity sensor B6 becomes uncovered, this means the
forks are safely inserted into the pallet. The pallet can now be lifted.
When the pallet clamp with the first pallet moves down and photo sensor B7 detects the
second pallet, the pallet stacker decreases speed.
When the first pallet rests on top of the second pallet, sensor B6 becomes covered and the
lowering of the carrier stops immediately. The pallet clamps now move to their reference
position (opened). The empty carrier can now be lifted.
Mechanical locking device and belt slack sensors
The mechanical locking device and the sensors that detect slackness of the lifting chains are
integrated into the frame of the pallet stacker. For a detailed description, refer to the UM of the
Prmk10.
