6.2.3  Cabinet and drum cleaning

WARNING:

 Disconnect the tumble dryer from the mains electricity supply.

•  Clean the housing, control panel, and door seal with a slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent or soapy water. After cleaning, dry 

all parts with a soft cloth.

•  The drum and other stainless steel parts can be cleaned with a suitable stainless steel cleaner following the manufacturer’s 

instructions.

•  Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, glass cleaners, or all-purpose cleaners. These could damage plastic surfaces and other 

parts. 

•  The tumble dryer must never be hosed down.

7.  TROUBLESHOOTING

With the help of the following notes minor faults in the performance of the appliance, some of which may result from incorrect 

operation, can be put right without contacting the Service Centre.

Repair work to electrical appliances should only be carried out by a suitably qualified person in strict accordance with current local 

and national safety regulations. Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be 

held liable for unauthorized work.

The tumble dryer switches off automatically for energy saving. This is not an error but a normal 

function.

8.  GUARANTEES

Guarantees and limitations of liability

Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase, or from the date of delivery to the customer’s home. 

Depending on the country, this guarantee consists of 24 to 36 months of validity for the legal compliance guarantee.

For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a 12-month commercial guarantee is applied at the end 

of the first guarantee, and supplements it.

Please consult your retailer for information and/or to refer to their GTCs (General Terms and Conditions of Sale).

For the commercial guarantee

Please go to the reception desk at your place of purchase with your proof of purchase (e.g. sales receipt), the

product and the accessories it came with, and its original packaging, for all countries other than France. It is important to have the date 

of purchase, the model and the serial number or IMEI number to hand (this information is usually indicated on the product, packaging, 

or on your proof of purchase). You’ll need to bring back the product with the accessories needed for its correct functioning (power 

supply, adapter, etc.). If your claim is covered by the guarantee, the after-sales service may, within the limits of local law, either:

• Repair or replace faulty parts.

• Exchange the returned product with a product that has, at the least, the same features and that offers equivalent performances.

• Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or reconditioned hardware and components.

Commercial guarantee exclusions:

• Damages or problems caused by improper use, accident, tampering/modification or an unsuitable current or voltage connection.

• Use or storage conditions which are detrimental to the good conservation of the appliance (oxidation, corrosion), use of energy, 

use or installation non-compliant with the manufacturer’s instructions, or negligence or use of peripherals, software or consumables 

which are unsuitable.

• Professional or collective, industrial or commercial use of the product.

• Products that have been modified, or which have damaged, altered, erased or oxidised guarantee seals or serial numbers.

• Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.

• Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety instructions set out in the manual.

• Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.
